The seventh annual "Community Block Party: Takin' It To The Streets" takes place Saturday, Sept. 13, in the church parking lot on the corner of Tieton Drive and South 13th Avenue. The event is free and open to people of all ages.
"We are inviting the community to join us for a fun-filled day and see that as Christians we really do have fun," says Stephanie Harrah, business administrator at the church.

There will also be face painting, music, arts and crafts, a car show, and several game booths with prizes. The American Red Cross will be available for those wishing to donate a pint of blood. The party ends with a drive-in movie at dusk.
The church is located at 606 S. 13th Ave. For more information, call 248-9405, or e-mail Harrah at stephanie@yakimatbc.org.
